Internally Run Clubs

After-School Clubs

This Spring term, we will once again be offering a range of exciting after school clubs for all children from Years 1 - 6.   The clubs will run from 3.30 – 4.20pm and are free of charge.

As we have now started starting a new term, children will need to reapply for all clubs they wish to attend.  Many of the clubs have limited spaces available so places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.  A confirmation of an allocated place at school run club will be sent out via email as soon as possible before the club starts.

If your child is unsuccessful when they apply for a club, they will be placed on a waiting list.  Should a space become available at a later date, you will be notified as soon as possible.

Due to the time of year, Gardening Club will not resume until after the February half term, however we will be taking applications for this club now.

The clubs we will be running this term are as follows:

Although the deadline for school run after school clubs has passed, there are still places in the following clubs:

  • Nightinglee
  • Film Club
  • Running Club (both Wednesday and Thursday)
  • Gardening Club.

Should you wish to apply for a place in one of these clubs, please complete the form which you can find below or call into the office.

Please note that all school run clubs will not start until week commencing 13 January.  If your child attends an externally run club such as Premier Tennis or Intergr8 please contact your provider for start dates.

It would not be possible to have clubs without staff volunteering to run them in their own time.  If you have any specific skills or interests and would like to volunteer to run a club in the spring term, please contact the office.

If you have any problems applying or require more information, please email c.burman@nightingale.hants.sch.uk

Please note the following:

  • Children must be collected at the stated time from the children's entrance.
  • Should your child be unable to attend a club please notify the office as soon as possible.
  • Poor attendance / behaviour at a club may result in your child losing a place at that club.
  • If there is a change to the usual arrangements at the end of the session (such as another adult collecting your child or them walking home alone), please inform the office.

** Failure to comply with the above may result in your child losing their place at a club **
