Admissions Policy

If you would like your child to attend our school. You will need to complete an online application. The schools admission policy can be found on the policies page of the website. If you cannot complete an application online, you will need to collect a paper application form from the school office.
 

Hampshire County Council operates two types of admissions:

 

  • In-year applications:  This is for children who need an immediate school place.  Parents who need to make a school application for their child to start immediately (within the next four weeks), should apply using the link https://www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning/admissions/applicationprocess/inyear

  • September applications into Year R and Year 7, known as main round applications:  If your child is starting Year R in September 2020, or moving up to Year 7 in secondary school, please click on the link below for further information regarding the application process along with the online application form.

 

Starting At Nightingale Primary School In September 2020?

 

The online application process opens on 1st November 2019.  The closing date for applications is Wednesday 15th January 2020.  You will be notified of a school place on 16th April 2020

 

Applications can be submitted from 1st November via the Hampshire County Council website at www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning/admissions

 

 

School Meals

Special Medical Diets

Within the leaflet, HC3S have included their special medical diet infographic.  Should your child require a special diet for medical reasons you must complete and return the HC300 form which you can find here: https://documents.hants.gov.uk/HC3S/MedicalSpecialDietForm.pdf  This form must be signed by your doctor and submitted by 1st July 2020.  For further information on medical special diets please visit
