Keeping  children safe is an important part of their healthy development, not only at primary age, but all through their lives. Technology is growing in availability at a rapid rate allowing children to access and share information online, not only on computers and laptops, but on mobile technology such as their mobile phones, ipads and notepads.

 

It might seem that children have better skills than adults, as they pick things up so quickly, however, they still need advice and protection when it comes to being online.

Following an alert from Hampshire Police, we need to make you aware of an online safeguarding concern that has been brought to our attention. 

The concern regards online encouragement of a series of challenges called, 'Momo Challenge'.

We are also aware that this concern, has also been popping up on games being used on mobile phones and tablets, being viewed by children through general usage
